At Aalborg University I obtained my PhD degree in mathematics. The title of my PhD thesis is "Applications of the Footprint and the Feng-Rao bound" (topic: Coding Theory and Cryptography).
During my PhD I developed my ability in academic research, especially in coding theory, cryptography and applied algebra. I improved my academic English and I used it in international meetings around the world.
I had several hours of teaching and I learned how to interact professionaly with people that do not have academic mathematics background.
At University of Trento I obtained my Master degree in mathematics. The title of my Master thesis is "Construction and Evaluation of Block Ciphers" (topic: Cryptography). My final degree was 110 over 110 cum laude.
During my Master I focused my mathematical knowledge in applied algebra: mainly cryptography and coding theory. For this reason my Master thesis was about the construction of a block cipher similar to AES-256 (the security American protocol).
Besides of applied algebra I followed other applied courses: in particular Statistics, Finance and Biomathematics.
At University of Trento I obtained my Bachelor degree in mathematics. The title of my Bachelor thesis is "Elastic curves" (topic: "Geometry"). My final degree was 107 over 110.
The first two years of my Bachelor were in University of Trento. In this small university in North Italy I learned the importance of mathematics in different backgrounds.
University of Trento is young but it is one of the best university, ranking in 2015 as the 2nd mid-size university in Italy [source].
At the University of Tuebingen I had my first international experience outside Italy as university student.
Besides to improve my mathematical skills, I communicated with international people and I put the basis to become an open-minded person. I used to speak only in German and I discovered that my future should not remain confined in Italy.
